Concerned About the Environment? Natural Farewell™ Burial Service

The Natural Farewell™ Burial Service is offered without the use of a casket, vault or chemicals; allowing you to say farewell to a loved one while minimally impacting the environment.

The service begins with a private family farewell at the McGuinness Funeral Home. After the family members have had their opportunity to say goodbye your loved one will be transported to the cemetery for an earth friendly burial. 

A Natural Farewell™ Burial Service includes the following Innovative Offerings:

• Preparation of your loved one including dressing but without the use of chemicals
• Private family farewell time at our facility so you can say goodbye to your loved one. (Limited to 30 minutes and immediate family)
• Greeters/Service Hosts
• Internet Obituary and Guestbook  
• Secure transfer of your loved one to and from the cemetery
• Attorney Consultation
• Estate Auction/Appraisal Consultation
• Aftercare support services
• Invitation to the annual Butterfly Release and Holiday Remembrance programs

The Natural Farewell™ Burial Service is designed to attend to the emotional needs of your immediate family. Additional needs can be met by upgrading to a Simple or Healing Farewell™ both of which are available without the use of a casket, vault or chemicals.
