Veteran’s Farewell™

At McGuinness Funeral Home we feel it is our duty to take extra care of those who have served our country. That is why we’ve created the Veteran’s Farewell™, a unique style of military funeral designed to provide a lasting salute to those men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our country’s honor and freedom.

The Veteran’s Farewell™ begins with a personalized service at our funeral home; complete with a visitation time that celebrates the life of the deceased veteran. A special Video Tribute will be created to honor their service to our country. American flags will be proudly displayed and you will be able to choose from a selection of patriotic themed caskets.

The graveside ceremony will be held at one of our two veterans cemeteries in the area; Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Williamstown or Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. 

In both cases, an Honor Guard will be present to pay their respects and the family will be presented with an American flag as a lasting tribute to their loved one.

McGuinness Funeral Home offers veterans the only specifically designed veterans hearse in the United States. The "Old Glory Hearse" was designed to honor those men and women who served our country in the armed forces. When choosing military funeral honors, "Old Glory" is a fitting tribute to those who gave so much so we could be free.
